Mr. Gagan Verma
Patient at AktivOrtho

´I feel good and well now. Not only has AktivOrtho been a God-send for me, it has also been responsible for re-fuelling my aspirations to become the most fit I can possibly be´

“In December 2012, I was suffering from spinal malfunction, muscle spasms, acute pain in and around L1-L5, S1, along with a severe immobility in the lumbar region. During one of my various visits to doctors/hospitals, I got a referral to AktivOrtho and I joined at the end of January 2013.

The rehabilitation process at AktivOrtho has been different in many ways:
  • The overall handling of my case has been very reassuring and comforting, right from day one.
  • The transparency and communication of the actual diagnosis and cure.
  • The therapists on site and the knowledge they possess are excellent.
  • The entire centre is so organised, hygienic, modern and complete in all aspects.

I feel good and well now. Not only has AktivOrtho been a God-send for me, it has also been responsible for re-fuelling my aspirations to become the most fit I can possibly be. Getting to interact and train under Mr Sandeep Biswas is something I will never forget and in fact, I will cherish for the rest of my life. His keen involvement in my rehabilitation and pushing me each time is something I cannot thank him enough for."

Comments by Physiotherapist Mr. Sandeep Biswas

"On his first visit, Mr. Verma came with symptoms of both acute and chronic problems. His standing posture and movement patters gave me clues as to why he developed these problems in the first place. His body was in complete imbalance and the same was limiting his performance in sport.

A further, thorough manual evaluation gave a complete picture of limited mobility at various joints.

Our initial sessions involved hours of joint mobilisation, myofascial release, manipulative corrections and functional integration. With the body taking over the newly gained motions, we slowly progressed to muscle re-education and mobility training. Today, Mr Verma is out of his pain and gaining his strength and movement capabilities. The journey has been long but with the never-ending enthusiasm of Mr Verma, it was never difficult.

The human body has amazing capabilities, the only pre-requisite is knowing how to optimise them. At AktivOrtho, we work with the most advanced concept of Kinematic Movement Training, Functional Body Motion Training, to help you attain and polish your performance. We aim to get the best out of you with the best in us”.
